Tara Accardo created her blog, course, and online community, Losses Become Gains, after losing both of her parents to cancer within six months of each other, followed by her fur baby less than a year later. As an only child especially, it was an incredibly difficult time in her life. She felt very lost, confused, isolated, and deeply hurt and grieving. It was almost impossible to see how she would come out of this deep despair and do life without them, but after a LOT of time healing, and self-development, Losses Become Gains came to fruition! Her mission is to help fellow grievers, and those who have been through loss that are struggling, to find "gain" from their losses. This means amore beautiful, peaceful, meaningful, and fulfilling life after loss.
